Our Story
Hi there! I’m Aimee, the heart behind Aimee’s Rabbitry, located in beautiful Northern Illinois, just about an hour from Chicago. I raise purebred, pedigreed Holland Lop and Netherland Dwarf bunnies with a focus on exceptional health, temperament, and quality.
As a proud member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA), I’m committed to responsible, ethical breeding practices and producing rabbits that make loving, well-socialized pets. My passion for bunnies began back in 2000, when I got my very first rabbit and instantly fell in love. What started as a hobby has grown into a lifelong passion. Because I operate a small, hands-on rabbitry, every bunny receives individual attention and care. My herd is vaccinated, and each rabbit enjoys daily exercise and enrichment — outdoors when weather allows! From birth, I handle every baby daily so they grow up friendly, confident, and people-oriented. Raised right inside our home, they’re accustomed to family life and other pets, making their transition to your home smooth and easy. All of my babies begin litter training before they leave, and their diet includes fresh hay, organic veggies, and high-quality, grain-, soy-, and molasses-free pellets. My bunnies live indoors in spacious, clean enclosures and are truly part of our family.
What sets my rabbitry apart is my dedication to unique colors and genetics — I specialize in blue-eyed Holland Lops and White-Eared lines, offering some of the most beautiful bunnies you’ll find anywhere. Beyond genetics, we truly care about each bunny as if they were part of our own family — focusing on healthy nutrition, socialization, and quality care from birth to adoption. In addition to our breeding program, we also offer bunny boarding and grooming services, providing trusted care and pampering for your rabbit while you’re away. I’m proud to have happy bunny families all across the U.S. — from Wisconsin and Minnesota to Washington, Texas, and Colorado to New York — and I love watching my babies bring joy to homes nationwide.
